A Leadership Role Focused on Keeping Things Running

Joanna serves as an Executive for a private equity firm based in Florida. Her role supports executive leadership while overseeing day-to-day operations and office infrastructure.

When her company needed to build out temporary office space ahead of a future headquarters, Joanna helped coordinate the effort alongside leadership and project partners. To support the transition toward a future headquarters, Joanna helped coordinate a temporary office build out, partnering with leadership and project stakeholders throughout the process. She worked across teams to make sure the space would support how people actually work day to day. She, alongside the team worked to ensure the space was not just functional, but aligned with how employees actually operate throughout the day.

The Challenge: Building a Functional Office During Growth

The project was driven by growth. The team needed a space that could support an expanding finance group while still accommodating leadership and administrative functions.

“It was really about accommodating our current workforce and allowing for growth,” Joanna says.

The layout needed to support both collaboration and focused work, while keeping the office fully operational during the buildout.

The Difference: A Team You Can Move Forward With

Joanna was introduced to Emerald C’s through a referral and quickly felt comfortable in the partnership. moving forward.

“When I met Brittany and we started working together, we just clicked,” she says.

Working with Emerald C’s President and Co-owner, Brittany Culbreth, gave Joanna confidence early on. “I immediately had a comfort level that she knew what she was talking about,” Joanna says.

That confidence made it easier for Joanna to make decisions and keep the project moving without second-guessing direction.

The Result: A Process That Felt Manageable

As the project moved forward, Joanna didn’t feel like she had to stay on top of every detail. As the project moved forward, Joanna felt comfort in knowing that everything was being taken care of down to the last detail. “I didn’t have to constantly worry about the project,” she says.

That made a difference in her role, allowing her to stay focused on supporting the business instead of getting pulled into construction issues.

When questions came up, they were handled quickly. “She had already caught it and was addressing it,” Joanna says.

I didn’t have to constantly worry about the project.

A Space That Worked While Work Continued

Part of the project took place while the office was already in use, which required coordination between construction and daily operations.

“They were working in conjunction with us while we were there in the office,” Joanna says. Joanna’s team was able to continue working without major disruption.

What Keeps the Relationship Going

As Joanna’s company continued to grow, Emerald C’s was brought back to complete an additional buildout, helping expand the space and support the next phase for the company.

“I’d love to work with them again,” she says.

For Joanna it came down to trust and knowing the work would get done and everything would stay on track.
