Brittany Lee Culbreth, President and Co-Owner, graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and a minor in Spanish Literature. After graduating, she started her career with a defense contractor building ground-up projects on military bases throughout the southeastern United States. Understanding the fast paced and technical nature of military projects and the high demands of schedule and deadlines, she has honed her skills in project management, estimating, and scheduling. In 2010, Brittany became a state-certified General Contractor and began renovating houses in her off time. In 2013, she, along with her husband, Jesse, started Emerald C’s Development, Inc. to focus solely on commercial interior build-out projects.

Jesse Culbreth, Vice President and Co-Owner, also graduated from the University of Florida in 2005. He started his career in residential construction but quickly transitioned into commercial construction in 2007 specializing in commercial interior build-out projects. Having developed an intimate knowledge of interior build-out projects, Jesse is relied on for his ability to accurately estimate projects prior to the development of full construction documents. With over 10 years of construction experience, Jesse has developed a reputation for reliability and excellent customer service.

Carlie Cole is a licensed interior designer and project manager with over fourteen years of experience in the design and construction industry. She graduated from Florida State University with her Bachelor of Science in 2009 and Master of Fine Arts in interior design in 2011. After completing her education, Carlie spent twelve years in the interior design industry working on a variety of projects in the commercial workplace, higher education, healthcare, government, and hospitality industries. Today she brings a unique perspective and collaborative approach to construction project management and design-build projects.

Robert Nickels has an engineering degree from Pennsylvania State University and is a Project Manager with over 17 years of experience in the industry. He has spent his career leveraging his technical competence and interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships. Robert’s experience as an engineer and sales specialist has allowed him to consistently exceed budgetary and performance goals, with focal points including sales solutions, market analysis, product specialization, relationship management, business development, and technical support. His superior expertise allows him to effectively use communication and negotiation skills, market analysis, and budget management to develop an impressive business acumen supporting efficiency and maximizing returns.
